
GREG BARCLAY (CHAIRMAN)
Greg is currently the chairman of the board of Northern Districts Cricket. A graduate of Canterbury University he is a commercial lawyer in Auckland and is a principal of Claymore Partners Limited. He also holds a post graduate business qualification from the University of Auckland. He is a past or present director of a number of New Zealand companies including NZX listed Smartpay Limited, the current chairman of Pacific Forest Products Group and is a director of national sports marketing company The Experience Group. He is also a member of the New Zealand Institute of Directors. Greg was raised in Gisborne and played cricket for Poverty Bay through the grades up to and including the senior men’s team. He is married with three children and between work and family commitments he enjoys reading, cycling to keep moderately fit, occasional golf and watching cricket.

GEOFF BUCHAN
Geoff Buchan was born in Hamilton and completed schooling at Waikato University with an Honours degree in Planning. After 18 months overseas he returned to New Zealand and moved into finance, completing the NZX diploma while working at Craig and Co. He is currently a Senior Advisor and Shareholder in Craigs Investment Partners. Geoff has been a director on the Northern Districts Board since 2009, he is also a long standing member of the Institute of Directors. Other interests include a trustee position with the Tamahere School board and a growing involvement in the community through his son's participation in junior cricket. Geoff played club cricket for 15 years and can still be seen on occasion playing socially.

LACHLAN MULDOWNEY
Lachlan is a senior partner in Hamilton law firm Tompkins Wake, specialising in environmental and administrative law. He is a graduate of the University of Otago and recently attended the Harvard University mediation and negotiation programme. He has been practicing law for over 17 years and brings strong governance and legal compliance skills to the Board of Northern Districts Cricket. Lachlan played representative cricket for Northland secondary schools and currently coaches his son’s primary school cricket team.

CRAIG PRESLAND
Craig is a senior executive with leadership experience at CEO level across a wide range of NZ service industries: gymnasiums, skincare clinics, childcare, 24 x 7 call centres, shared services, retail, freight forwarding and logistics. He has a finance and marketing career path that led to his first GM role over 14 years ago, and has proven success in leading organisations either from start up or requiring significant turnaround. Craig is a former Northern Districts age group and senior representative playing 23 games for the Northern Districts senior team from 1983 to 1985, while also representing Northland in senior provincial rugby in 1985. Married with 2 sons, Craig is now actively involved in coaching schoolboy cricket. He is a graduate from Auckland University (BCOM, 1982) and Mt Eliza Business School (MDP, 1996), and is a current member of the NZ Institute of Directors.

CHRIS RAPSON
Chris is a company director involved in the upcycling of waste streams and in the finance industry. A Senior Associate of Finsia, Chris is also a Registered Financial Advisor with extensive banking and finance experience in the personal, commercial & corporate sectors. Coaching of young cricketers & development of the game has been a passion for thirty plus years. Involved in cricket administration and governance since 1978, Chris has been a director of Northern Districts Cricket since 2005.

MARTIN SWANN
Martin is a relative newby to the mighty Waikato, having resided here since only 1989. Born in Wanganui, he attended Massey University before moving onto Auckland where he completed his Architecture Degree. Martin has been a registered Architect since 1987and is a Director/Shareholder in DLA Architects Ltd where he manages the Hamilton office. Married with 2 children, he has been a director at Northern Districts Cricket since 2009.With his playing days now well behind him, he now enjoys watching his young daughter begin her cricket "career", he is however still coaching his older son’s football team after 10 long seasons. Martin brings his life long interest and passion of the game along with his planning, design and networking skills to the Northern Districts Cricket board.
